2015 vintage. From Pierre Lurton's private estate in the Entre Deux Mers region. Mainly Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Red fruit and spices with subtle oak and a hint of leather. Well-balanced, the 14,5 abv. alcohol kept in check by the fresh acidity and slightly rustic tannic structure. Spicy finish. Tastes like something in between Saint-Emilion and Pessac-Léognan. Terrific value too. Drinking well now but I believe it will improve with a few more years of bottle ageing. — 5 years ago

The nose is really superb, between bright notes of fruit (citrus fruits, apricot stones), barrel notes. Lively mouth, beautiful minerality, gunstone, notes of onion, poultry. Balanced, well-built body. Superb finish also, bringing together the tasting bouquet. Nice pleasure!

Gamay / Pinot Noir Blend - Light, fruity, and fresh; with a nice salivating acidity. Aperitif wine, also on dishes usually dedicated to white wine (fish). Raised on volcanic soils, the tannins are fuller than usual on this type of blend.
