One of my favorite local wineries, and one of my favorite vintages of their cab sauv. So good! — 5 years ago
Really yummy!! Ripe cassis and plum, dark berries, grippy tannins and a hint of sweet spice. — 8 years ago
Ripe red fruits and almost tropical notes. Balanced. #pinotnoir #newzealand — 9 months ago
At 10 years old a wine that is drinking quite nicely and the 2015 was seen as a good Martinborough vintage, and the single vineyard KIWA as having good structure, complexity, and capacity for aging to 2025 and beyond.
It’s a harmonious balance of fruit and savory complexity with earthy, spicy, and savory notes, underpinned by its structure and a long finish.

Amazing. Soft — 6 years ago
Very minerally traces of coal dust - different and enjoyable. Just had a glass at China Doll Sydney - first visit. The wine was very good. Palate is on the restrained style - worked well with Scallops, Ginger and Shallots. Larry McKenna is an Australian winemaker who has enhanced his reputation at Escarpment. — 7 years ago
Fun, bright, wild yeast! Good acidity, strawberry and moss. Lighter style. Oh and it’s foot-crushed! — 8 years ago
Fyllig med väldig hög syra. Klarar nog en del lagring. Tydlig kallt klimat stil. Provat direkt från fat. — 8 years ago
