Ezio Poggio ‘Archetipo’ Colli Tortonesi “Terre di Libarna” Timorasso 2018: Medium body. Fragrant floral nose. Racy acidity. Lemon. Green apple. Slate. Dry crisp finish. This was my first experience with the almost extinct Piemontese Timorasso grape but definitely not my last! Such a delicious, refreshing and beautiful wine! Please give it a try if you are unfamiliar. Cheers🍷 — 5 years ago
Medium ruby red with brick colored rim. Rose petals, cherry, leather, and hints of tar are evident on the nose. Dense red fruit on the palate with nice minerality, prominent fine grained tannins, and long finish. This wine, made by famed Barolo producer Giorgio Rivetti at his La Spinetta winery for his friend Ezio Cocito, is drinking very well right now. — 9 years ago
