This bottle was showing less reduction and was a lot more giving from the get-go than the one I had last fall. It shows such incredible layers of stone fruit, citrus, hazelnut and smoky minerals. It continues to gain both volume and focus with air and the palate has amazing texture, weight and such impressive depth for a village wine. Coche and Ente truly do play in a different league. — 4 years ago

Really enjoyed this wine! Super smooth, an very easy to drink. A little fruity without being too sweet. — 6 years ago
I read Ned Grey Creed’s review and had to try it. I might add it’s more like the difference between friends and good friends. Friends help you move. Good friends help you move...
...bodies. This is a good friend.
In my list of best wines under $50, this one is at the top. In my list of best wines under $100, easily in the top 3. I bought it knowing CNDP has a standard to maintain, but at the price, I didn’t expect quite this level of complexity, long finish, and sikiness in the tannins. I went back to the store and bought the last three they had. I tend to fall in the high dollar Margaux camp, but this can give any of them a serious run for their money. — 7 years ago
Stunning. Graphite, cherry leather, plum, fall leaves. Beautiful structure to this wine.

Spicy but soft great fall wine — 4 years ago
2021 fall. As always, this is darker with a lower center of gravity than the frappato wines, but well balanced with crunchy acidity — 5 years ago
2020 fall. This wine is always great - intense black cherry, iron and stone. It manages to be elegant and balanced, even transparent, despite the size and alcohol — 6 years ago
Cotes du Rhône from FK 2017 Fall tasting.
Nice. — 8 years ago
Fall is here and it’s the season I love to drink port. Dow, producing Ports for over 2 centuries. One of the first to establish its own vineyards, acquiring Senhora da Ribeira, in the remote Upper Douro, in 1890 & Bomfim, in the heart of Alto Douro, in 1896. Aromas of ripe fruits, fragrant spices and sweet notes. On the palate flavors of candied apple and jammy blackberries with cacao and honey. Firm dusty tannins, good balance, long finish. Perfect now. — 4 years ago
2020 fall. One thing I love about Tondonia (and Bosconia) is that it’s always ready to go on release - even when it still feels a little primary, like the 2007. That’s in comparison even to wines like the Imperial or Vina Real Gran Reservas, which still feel quite young at 8-10 years — 6 years ago
This is a gorgeous wine even now(early)! Showing silky smoothness, smoke, cherry liqueur, cassis, black licorice, maple syrup, tar, milk chocolate and vanilla! I actually opened this last night but decided to wait!
This is my upcoming work weekend; wishing a Happy Fall weekend to everyone! — 6 years ago

Texas wines have grown. This is an outstanding blend of Grenache Syrah and Mourvèdre from Salt Lick Vineyard. This is a complex wine with great structure and finesse. Great to see the Lone Star State wines mature and compete in the world stage. Visited the Fall Creek Vineyards. Well worth it can’t get it retail because of the limited production but can get it online. New release of the 2016 vintage. Excellent! — 8 years ago
