Great Grenache from France. Rhône style red that comes through. The grape is the queen in this wine. Soft but with true flavor of the varietal. Blend of old and new vintage. Glad that I bought this. I am having it with an excellent vegetarian pizza and is wonderful. — 4 years ago
Medium yellow color. Tropical and vanilla on nose. Oak With something I can’t distinguish.. maybe some salinity? Bright pineapple. Then rich buttery creaminess. Slight vanilla into an oak finish. Slightly dry — 6 years ago
Floral with acidity but does have a little more sweetness than other Rieslings from the same vintner. As it opens develops some banana top notes. — 5 months ago
I don’t know what it is about this. So so smooth, full-bodied, yum. — 4 years ago
Slightly chill before drinking. Floral, blackberry and spice. Some tannin. Medium bodied. Acid. Good summer red option or lunch/brunch. Paired well with aged cheeses, blackberries. Winner of tonight’s tasting. — 5 months ago
Opened after Xmas lunch as we needed a follow up to the Black Shiraz. Did not disappoint. Mature and soft with all the lovely spice and dark fruit of the basket pressed. Lovely. — 8 months ago
1975 out of magnum and from a leaky cork . Procured it from a collection. Mature with notes of brioche , kumquat . Apricot ,Chamomile , white flower ,lychee, and oyster shell. On the palate it’s exotic and explosive with vibrant ,apricot , papaya , caramel, nuts ,tons of dry extract some Sauternes like notes . One of the best 1975s I have had from a leaky cork. Wow — 4 years ago
Lovely rose with a bit more complexity and less acidic bright fruit than the typical rose. Well-balanced dryness. — 6 years ago

Ripe dark fruit aromas, juicy fruit and very vegetal on the palate, tart fruit acidity with big tannins. Very tasty for a cab and a refreshing difference from Cali cabs.
