Short on the finish but not at all bitter. Nice. — 9 months ago
Minerally, lemon clawback from a tease of tropics/gooseberry. New oak gives it a little more seriousness, but not a malo/creamy mess — it’s crisp. Good “house” Sancerre — 5 years ago
Wow, yum. On the nose: sweet canteloupe and citrus with some vanilla/coconut cream. On the palate: lovely acidity, lemon, wet stone, soft cream...excellent palate density, soft, refined mousse and a touch of white pepper. Elegance and a cool decadence in a glass. — 4 years ago
Clean, citrus, light — 3 years ago
Single vineyard "Les Belles Voyes" in the famous Grand Cru hillside of Oger. Pale lemon with fine creamy mousse and tiny rapid bubble flow, long lees aging. aromas stone fruits and blossom, bread dough and citrus. On the palate flavors of golden apple, peach, lemon citrus and honeysuckle with biscuit toast and nutty notes. Long finish, full-body ending with biscuit, mineral and citrus character. Violet, blackberry, licorice, and cedar. Lighter than I expected given how dark it is. — 8 days ago
