Frisinger Family Vineyard

Frisinger Family Vineyard

Oak Knoll District Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

A little too strong now but still a nice cherry-flavored wine. Better in 5 years and likely too early to drink now. Still a nice value at $45 and a good accompaniment to my Czech beef stew. Needs beef. — 22 days ago

9.0

First of the blind Napa Valley Mountain reds. Deep ruby red. Attack of baking spices on the nose, almost coconut with some woody characteristics and purple floral notes. Solid acidity with medium tannins (6.5/10) and medium bodied. A touch of age showing through on the palate with some woody elements, black cherries, raspberries, dark cocoa and forest floor. A little bit of dark berry undertones. Medium length finish with lots of gravel. Drink till 2022. — 8 years ago
