Very elegant, still slightly jammy & typically Aussie.
Blackberry & blueberry galore, with a minty, herby, edge. Ripe, yet fresh & enticing.
Impeccably balanced on the palate even if rich. The quality of tannins is so nice, the acidity so juicy, balancing the black fruit so nicely.

45+ minute decant but probably should have just PnP’d. Not as bold as I remember past bottles. Honestly it was rather weak and lacked material fruit or character. Finish was short. I better get to drinking my remaining bottles unless this was just off. Steve and Brooke enjoyed, which is all that mattered. — 8 years ago
