Decent, but not worth the price. A lot better whiskeys in this price range. Front end is great back end is harsh. — 5 years ago
Bright, juicy strawberry, good acidity. Funky nose but that’s standard with pet nat. — 6 years ago

Fridays are for Franc! And I. LOVE. THIS. WINE. I could not believe the aromatics that exploded from the bottle when I pulled the cork. Seriously it was like there was a blueberry pie baking in the kitchen. Decanted for an hour or so. Deep magenta in the glass. Loads of Cherry and blueberry on the palate mingle with vanilla, chocolate, herbs, and earth - very rich, but so incredibly balanced at the same time. I’ve been a longtime fan of Detert wines and this very well may be my favorite vintage of their Franc to date. I’m just wowed. Can’t wait to revisit this again and see how it evolves. Really well done @Tom Garrett (as always). — 8 years ago
Had this after drinking spiced mulled wine for the holidays. It was refreshing—much less sweet but still a fruity easy to drink glass. Garrett and I bought the wine on recommendation from a sommelier in Rome. — 9 years ago

This wine was much better than the Moraga. Light, crisp and refreshing, everyone enjoyed this one much more. Thanks Tiffany and Garrett for introducing us to this Italian gem!! — 5 years ago

This wine made me a Chardonnay lover! Not usually a fan because of the oakiness, this wine changed my mind. Crisp and clean, refreshing! — 8 years ago

Drank at Bottles in Paris with Sarah and Brice Garrett from Serrano Wines in Paso Robles.
Dark ruby red. Dark nose with some floral notes, dark berries, and a little savory. Medium plus (6.5/10) and full bodied. Some herbs on the palate, savory, leather and dark raspberries. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2027. (91+) — 9 years ago
