Ready to drink. I wouldn’t wait any longer — a month ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour alongside the 2009 vintage. The 2005 “Giulio Ferrari” pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is vinous with lovely notes of graham cracker, bruised apple, and spiced peach. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and richer than the 2009. Drink now. — 3 months ago

I’m very impressed with this!! For £5.49, from Lidl, it’s smooth, lightly floral, hint of bitter citrus, light lick of minerality, it’s super easy drinking, but not inelegant. — 4 months ago
Not as great as previous bottles. Still good though. — 4 months ago
Jocholla
This was cherries in a bottle. Tart, bright red and black cherries. Slight earthy component. Was slightly overpowered by some of the cheeses on the board but was a good pairing. Put a slight chill on it to 65 degrees. — 22 days ago
