Might have kept this a little too long as the flavors are a bit muddled. The aromas/nose on it fills the room so it’s very aromatic. The finish is long but all in the mid-palate and nothing in the cheeks so feels lacking. More acidic than I love. — 2 months ago

On the nose, breeding stands out on notes of sweet tobacco, cedar. The mouth is fresh, supple, simple but charming. The aging is fine, and the sour red fruit is fresh and crunchy. Beautiful gourmet and affordable cuvée that does not lack finesse. To be tasted in two years.

Founded by Jacob Beringer, Vineyard was established in 1876. Dark Ruby with rich aromas ripe dark fruits with sweet spice and cedar notes. On the palate blackberry and cherry with licorice and cacao, well integrated and balanced acidity. Soft tannins, great mouthfeel, long finish, aged well. Nice!! — 5 years ago

A rare bird. I am a fan of Nicolas Jacob wines but I have not found any vintage later than 2020. This is a skin contact wine . It is a blend of 80% Chardonnay & 20% Savagnin. Sensory over load . All kinds of orchard fruit pop up at varying times accompanied by earth and some funkiness. On the palate oranges , lemons , peaches and a hint of VA. Very juicy and complex. Wonderful acidity . I cannot find my picture of the back label. This might be the 2018 or 2019.
