Great. My last btl of 2002 JC Cellars... I held so many of their early 2000s & I’m amazed how they hold their fruit. The Philary vineyard has always been towards the top. Like all JC’s - tons of sediment - many opportunities to stain my otherwise, pearly white teeth. :) — 5 years ago

Wow. Tight at PnP but has opened and shown itself over last 24 hrs. Layered, mature, deep, luscious. Blackberry compote, leather, plum preserves, baking spice, white pepper. Still nice balance and solid tannins. — 5 years ago

Geez, this is tremendous. 2007 w/ massive sweet, smooth,Rhône style fruit. - lots of cassis & blueberry. Likely the Mourvèdre & Petit Syrah together...So syrupy - really rich & tasty. Nice little 13yr old! — 6 years ago

I have always loved this vintage of Rudd’s JC made by Ramey. This is a classic older Cali Cabernet made in a Bordeaux style showing dark cherry, red & blackberry, cassis, leather, mocha, graphite, tobacco leaf & rose petal. — 7 years ago
