Very standard Cab Sauv on the nose, but the palate is more fruit forward than I expected with hints of blackberry and even a little cherry. Also hints of tobacco. Solid tannins on the finish. — a year ago
Quite volatile. Light bodied, astringent, tart red berries. — 2 years ago
really really really special. about as profound as natural wine can get. needed an hour to really get going but entirely singular. had all of the chenin tells—orchard fruit, waxy texture, structured acidity—but so much more. very pronounced herbaceous notes and overall far more savory than i could have ever anticipated. there is no one doing it like robinot. — 6 months ago
Pear on the nose; melon on the tongue. Smooth as silk. — a year ago
Delicious! Ripe lush and smooth. It was perfect with beef. — a year ago
Første Robinot. Pinot d’aunis md alder. Studenterbrød på flaske på grund af alder. Alder til stede i både farve, smag og duft. — 4 years ago
Best aged bottle of this I’ve had yet. Really in a great spot. Last few bottles of Robinot in general have been disappointing, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. — 7 months ago
Wine #5 on Jean-Pierre Robinot Uncorked Vol. 1
Lovely, perfumed, and delicate bouquet of flowers, seawater, and peach. With time, it opens up and becomes sweeter on the nose. On the palate, it's round despite the high acidity, offering an interesting evolution with a touch of brine in the finish. Lively, electric, and delicious. It's like Gravonia mixed with Jacky Blot. A curious combination, but it needs more time in the bottle.

2022 vintage. Producer generally rachets down the overt Grenache fruitiness and ramps up the finishing palate spice box. This repeats that formula. Light-medium/medium body. Expressive nose. Above average tannins for current CDP efforts. The new btg CDP for the near future. If I told you the price, you'd think I was lying through clenched teeth. 03.19.25. — a month ago
