Crazy good wine for its price. Simple yet nice. Strong colour and works perfect for fresh starters AND dessert. — 5 years ago
Nose is herbal and gorgeous with huge minerality. Lovely sugar snap peas, some C.K. Some confectionary aromas and just a beguiling whirlwind of so many non fruit aromas it’s hard to pinpoint them. A feral element as well but is so clean, so pure. It smells like the cleanest nature scene you can imagine. Yes it smells like a Bob Ross painting. Juicy and very complex with just a waterfall washing feeling across the palate. The balance of the fruit, minerals, acid and texture is extraordinary. Such delineation and grace. Stunning wine. — 8 years ago

The leader of our wine tasting said that Julius Caesar and Cleopatra tasted this wine or at least something close to it. It is delicious. — 5 years ago
A New England Style IPA, the 'Julius' from Tree House absolutely brilliant. Displaying a fabulous orange haze, this begins with stunning aromas of orange, mango, tropical fruit, citrus zest and a dried herb character that explode from the glass. It possesses a medium body with a beautiful texture that gently floats across the palate. Fresh, juicy complex and utterly delicious this is a benchmark for premium IPA. — 7 years ago

My wholesome follow up to the watching “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?”. Tavel forever. I close my eyes and see red and saturated fuschia. That’s not a taste by go with me. If chalk wasn’t dry and cloves weren’t sharp those would be a fraction of what you get here. Another sip and it’s unsweetened watermelon candy. If that makes sense. This wine is like running through a sprinkler on a hot day while chugging an orange Julius. And the sprinkler is spraying raspberries. Don’t question me. Just drink. — 8 years ago

This wine features 56% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, 32% Merlot, 7% Syrah and 5% Petit Verdot. Winemaker Micha Vaadia aged it for 16 months in French oak barrels. At 15% abv, it’s wise to keep an eye on uncle Julius if he’s driving.
This dark wine has aromas of cassis with a savory backbeat. Anise and leather join the fruit on the nose. The sip offers a tasty expression of the grapes involved, with an earthy element that's not quite pencil shavings and not quite olives, but close on both counts. The tannins are a bit toothy, but that brisket probably needs a good taming. — 9 years ago
