Extremely tight upon opening, but incredible a few hours after decanting. Predominant intense blackberry purée. Peppery candied black currants with a little watermelon jolly rancher. Wow. I have had this on the shelf for four years. Have been leery to pop the cork for fear it had turned skunky. Has best by date of 09-2016 on label. I am pleased to report it has survived cellaring. Chocolate Ale w/ Raspberry. 9.1% ABV. Raspberry colored. Very good! Celebrating KC Chief’s win over Miami Dolphins.
