I think this is the best release of this wine I’ve had. LC22. It’s excellent tonight layered with ripe orchard fruit, gun smoke, salted hazelnuts and exotic spices. Excellent example of a northern #Rhône #syrah deep ruby color still youthful, six years after vintage. on the nose, leather black pepper, plum, tart, red cherry, some dark chocolate notes, toast. on the pallet full-bodied, medium+ acidity for fine slightly green tannins finishes long, but I find it a little bit grippy and coarse and bitter, so if it were a little bit smoother and juicy.
