Super beau Chambolle, a eu besoin d’air, fruits rouges et noirs, assez dense et soyeux comme texture, croquant, assez tight et jeune encore mais s’est montré superbe une fois ouvert avec de l’air un peu. Bien hâte de boire les prochaines dans quelques années. 92-93

Nature Gamay .. fruity and supple. Light, floral. Lacks a bit of freshness for my taste. Otherwise it is very well done. Easy to drink, and digestible.

Paired with home made Focaccia with homegrown garden Cherry yellow and red tomatoes. Superb 2016 Clos from Droin that seems to he coming together now after my first bottles that were not up to the standard of that good domaine. Lemon curd, sea salt, some white orchard fruit, great minerality and salinity coupled with depth, richness, and this nice tension, making it balanced, vibrant with a savoury lengthy finish. 92-93

Bright light purple dress. Pure explosive nose on fruits (red and black) and flowers, typical of carbonic maceration. In mouth the first is light, airy, confirming the nose; carried by a beautiful necessary freshness balancing the little terroir extraction. A modern, "natural" wine, on the fruits at first fond that does not prevent a certain complexity from expressing itself on a peppery and mineral finish. A very beautiful juice to drink from the aperitif, which blindly could pass for a rosé.
Robe légère violine éclatante. Nez pure explosifs sur les fruits (rouge et noirs) et fleurs, typique des vins en macération carbonique. En bouche l’abord est léger, aérien, confirmant le nez; porté par une belle fraîcheur nécessaire équilibrant le peu de terroir extrait. Un vin moderne, “nature”, sur les fruits á l’abord friand n’empêchant pas une certaine complexité de s’exprimer sur une finale poivrée et minérale. Lovely bing cherry fruit on both the nose and palate. A touch of minerality and soft tannins. Very pretty.

Tasted at the producer, this is a primeur / pleasure to drink young vintage. 100% Cabernet-Franc. Light purple color, clear and limpid. Raspberry and herbaceous nose. Supple mouth blending raspberry, notes of cedar, cypress.
Slightly acidity, but the typical Touraine mineral structure, reminiscent of slate, pencil lead, or charcoal, bringing a refreshing salivating tension. On salads, aperitif-dinners, cold meats, cheese pastas, it's easy to drink, and pleasant.
Goûté chez le producteur, c’est une cuvée primeur/plaisir à boire jeune. 100% Cabernet-Franc. Robe pourpre légère, claire et limpide. Nez framboise et herbacé. Bouche souple mêlant, framboise, notes de cèdres, cyprès.
Acidité peu marquée mais la trame minérales typique de la Touraine, évoquant l’ardoise, la mine de crayon, ou le charbon, apportant une tension salivante rafraîchissante. Sur des salades, apéro-dînatoire, charcuterie, pastas fromage, c’est facile à boire, et plaisant. — 6 years ago
