Ruby red, med+ aromas of red berries and violet; med+ body, long finish. This is gorgeous. Dink or hold. — 10 months ago
The real deal — 8 years ago
Another winner from this producer. Lively pure, deep cherry leaps out of the glass, with a sprinkling of crushed rock and spice. Great acids (surprisingly for a ‘20) and lively, medium-bodied flavors. With air, the flavors are deepening. Still some youthful-feeling fine tannin. So good on a summer evening with take-out Detroit style pizza right now, but no rush to drink this. — 8 months ago
Must be at cellar temp!
The warmer this one gets the more things differ..
Smells is age - hazelnut skins and walnut shells
Slight saline at the start, medium bodied, cran/ras blend, Thai basil, slight gravelly finish with long lingering tannins. The acidity is a great accompaniment, and has a lime zest finish - Enjoyable.. — 4 years ago
2007. Not overpowering - drinkable on it's own without a meal. — 7 years ago

Nice Brunello and a real value at Wegmans’ price. Blackberry and stewed plum, cinnamon and leather, chewy tannins, juicy. Not too heavy. — 5 months ago
