Great cheap French Pinot! Bright and juicy with black currant and tart cherry flavors. High acidity controls the sweetness and alcohol, but the tannins add bite at the end. Umami notes in the finish pair great with mushrooms. — 5 years ago
This was beyond expectations. Great depth — 7 years ago
Don’t drink enough PV, especially given how good the village level wines can be. This was everything I look for in CdBeaune wine but with touch more fullness on the palate, and a slightly denser structure. Love the purity and high-toned character of the 2014’s as they seem to really be unwinding a little. — 8 years ago
Lovely slight fruity late summer wine, just 12.5%, easy drinking, goes with chicken salad — 6 years ago
Pale garnet; medium plus intensity aromas of red cherry, red currant, earth, subtle mushroom, subtle leather; dry, medium plus acid, medium minus ripe tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium plus intensity flavors consistent with aromas; medium plus finish, well balanced, very good — 6 years ago
@Delectable Wine This is regular Volnay (not Santenots). — 7 years ago
Great structure and acid, crisp on the palate. Nose apricots and tropical fruits over young apples, palate similar with subtle mlf and more pineapple. Gives the impression of being older and the oak is subtle- no ruinous smoke or vanilla explosions, fuses well with the creamier MLF textures. — 8 years ago

A very pretty color of ruby with a wide reddish rim.
On the nose bing cherries, red candied apples, blueberries, earth, light oak, spices, light licorice and sweet raspberries.
Medium bodied and elegant, with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, strawberries, sour cherries, light chocolates, light oak, spices, earth, bitter herbs, light vegetables, tobacco leaf and black pepper.
Tangy on the medium finish with soft tannins and cranberries.
This 8 year old Pinot Noir from Burgundy is drinking very nicely now, but still has more in it to continue maturing in the next 10 years.
Needs a couple of hours to open up properly.
I would have liked it to have more complexity, which will probably come with some more time in the bottle.
Fruit forward, elegant and enjoyable. Showing nice structure and mouthfeel.
This 2015 vintage in Burgundy was great, and it is showing. Will be nice to revisit it in 5 years.
Good by itself and better with food.
Aged for 18 months in French Oak barrels (40% new), 30% whole Cluster.
13% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Performance au delà des attentes. Frais et fruité avec une belle longueur en bouche. Très bien fait. — 6 years ago
Clearly this isn’t the wine Delectable says it is, a long lost and forgotten Montrachet that was truly spellbinding. If you come across a bottle of this, my suggestion, get it at all costs. Not drinking much these days, but for the wife’s bday, had to take a sip. Delicious — 7 years ago
