Tart, blackberry, earthy — 6 years ago
Nose of vanilla and raspberries. Very pale in color, and right out of the bottle it's very smooth and light. Quite drinkable. Not a bad little wine for $12. — 7 years ago

One of my favourite wines, easy to drink and pair with any type of food. Great price for the quality (CAD $19.95). Definitely recommend it — 9 years ago
Along with McManis and Bogle, this is one of my favorite widely available Cab Sauvs under $15 here in NYC... — 9 years ago
Tasting with Cline and McManis Syrahs. The Gnome was the best showing great black berries and pepper on the nose, huge berries, spice, pepper, currants and vanilla flavors. Very enjoyable with food or solo, and a great buy at the $8.99 we got it for. — 10 years ago

A ton of oak, vanilla on the nose. Blackberry and maybe some black cherry on the palate. Very tasty and big. Wish I was having some pasta with it. — 7 years ago

Aged in steel and aged barrels; crisp and not too oaky. Enjoyed with a friend at a neighborhood tasting event at the Highlands. — 10 years ago

Needs time to open, at least two hours. Dense unfined highly extracted pigment. Call it dark ruby plum in color. Slightly smoky in nose. Light body but lots of lightly chewy tannins, black currant and plum in the finish with cherry syrup and light eucalyptus aftertaste. A lighter take on the old Italian immigrant red out of Napa or Sonoma 50-60 years back. — 8 months ago
