This is a sensational bottle of old-vine Friulano, perfectly mature, combining freshness and nervosity (candied lime, pear, melon), dense exotic notes (tropical flowers, pine-apple, maracuja) and a gorgeously funky minerality (flint, wool, wet rocks).
Even better than the Friulanos from Miani that I tasted.

2022/9/9-10. Very young indeed - right now, it’s got a nose reminiscent of a verbal, pungent Sauvignon, but with some creamy depth and floral elegance hiding behind. Plenty of tangy fruit and savory mineral on the palate. Delicious with raw ham and all manner of vegetable dishes, but I’d love to try it in a few years. — 3 years ago
