Delicious. Ripe red fruit are balanced by high acidity, savory leather notes, and tannin. — 4 years ago
2014 and I was told the 2015 was better. This was pretty good and very representative of its type and place. Very drinkable now. #brunello #montalcino #italy #brunellodimontalcino I’ve had better. Not passionate about it, but still solid. — 6 years ago
I bought this wine at Ristorante Hernicvs (Hernicus) in Anagni, Italy. It is absolutely delightful. — 8 years ago

— 11 years ago

Purchased at the Castello in 2013. Raisins and leather that opened up beautifully over about 2 hours. Loads of fruit still here. Very tasty juice. — 8 years ago

Funky and high tannins…I really enjoyed this wine quite a bit. Paired with chicken, zucchini, olives…then chocolate. Was great with both. — 2 years ago
Very smooth, one of the smoothest we have tasted. Glass tasted at aan de Poel, Amsterdam with beef, cépe and celeriac — 7 years ago

Dark ruby color with garnet highlights. Aromas of dark berry fruit, eucalyptus, garrigue and dried tobacco. Flavors of blackberry, black plum, roasted herbs and coffee. Distinct mineral note on the long and lingering finish. Reasonably smooth tannins, especially for the Negroamaro varietal. Thanks for sharing, Chris B! — a year ago
