This was just great with a fine lunch at Quattro Mani in Palermo. Deep red cherry and sea saltiness. Perfect red wine for a Sicilian fish pairing. — 6 years ago

I've had 2013 (CS) from this producer. This one isn't worse. A bitter cherry, some vanilla and a leather and earthy notes. During the drinking I've felt longing for "Palermo" (Orin Swift Cellars), my favorite CS from California. But I've promised my self that I'll wait for it to 2022 (I have "Palermo" from 2017 and I want to see how it has changed). Interesting ... so many thoughts about a different wine than the one currently drunk. :) — 6 years ago
The label is, as usual, original. It's my fourth wine from Orin Swift Cellars (after "Abstract", "Papillon" and "Palermo"). And it's fantastic.
it is a blend of petite syrah, syrah and grenache. Ink color. The nose is full of fruity aromas: a plum, a blackberry and a blackcurrant and sweet liqueur aromas. Also the palate. But there you can also find a leather and a cocoa. Pleasant acidic finale reduces sweetness and closes this wine. — 6 years ago

Nice concentrated golden color. In the nose melon, ananas, mango, and tropical fruits. On the palate extremely aromatic with strong taste of ripe melon, peaches, candied fruits. Really nice balanced wine , soft tannins, high acidity and nice minerality. Amazing wine. Bought from Palermo 13,5€ — 4 years ago
Pink quartz color. Relatively dry. White peach and cantaloupe nose. Salted Walter melon and lime zest taste. Drank at Bochum Fuoco in our very last night in Italy/Palermo. — 4 years ago

Five stars. It's obvious, I think. I love wines from Orin Swift Cellars. And this cabernet sauvignon is one of my favorites. Deep, intense and with feeling. The nose is a vanilla and then: a plum and a sour blackberry. The end: a leather. And there's more, but I can't recognize. Like a secret (out of necessity). :) Mercury Head gives me joy. I have to buy another bottle. It's better than Palermo. — 6 years ago

This youngster just needs patience. Fruit structure it’s all there. The tannins dominate a bit too much however. This will be stunning in the future. — 3 months ago
