Chocolate lover as a beer! Cheers ๐ป โ 6 years ago
This is amazing! Right up there with Pliny for me. So well balanced and complex. Would love to try one fresh in Maine as the trek to California probably has some negative influence on taste. โ 8 years ago
Iโm not across the different sub districts of the Barossa to be fully aware of the different micro climates but this Yalumba wine from the Northern Barossa was sufficiently different with aromas of liquorice blue fruits and tar. Spice black pepper and Soft tannins. Mouthfilling and delicious. Had my last bottle 119 weeks later on 20th March 2025 with consistent notes. Earthy with black fruits. Very good - 94 points. โ 3 years ago
Similar to hoegaarden, awesome and yummy. โ 6 years ago
Treacle, blackstrap molasses, tar, dark chocolate, pipe tobacco, black raisin, medjool dates, myrrh, ganache, opium-coffee, and ginseng scented. Amorphous mouthfeel, runs from thick and round to acid-buoyed on the end of a floral stalk. Dark brown sugar without the sweet, fig, clove, allspice, a little Nuรณฤ Mam, toffee, cinnamon, nutmeg and gingerbread. This is mouthcoating breakfast fare begging for luxardo cherries or lingonberries, spicy sausage, rye toast, and smoky paprika. Gotta give it to the civet! โ 6 years ago
