1998. Perfect. Faith in you. — 8 years ago
Vending Tardive. One can make a case that in Alsace, where it is considered a Grand Cru-eligible grape, muscat gets more respect than in any other wine region. In this wine you can certainly taste why it deserves grand Cru status - perfect balance, great depth, subtle flavors and a level of sweetness that supports rather than overwhelms the fruit. Lovely rosé petal and honey notes With a refined Thai or Indian curry this will be exception, and with seared foie Gras? Off the chart. It deserves another couple of years in bottle but it will be hard to wait that long — 9 years ago
Really nice, refreshing, citrus, lemon, floral notes, decent acidity. — 9 years ago

Burn. Ernest Burn.
1994 in impeccable shape. Deep, burnished gold color.
Candied pear and yellow cider apple, marzipan and blueberry. Gasoline.
12.5% alc, totally dry, loooong finish. Layers of waxy yellow plum and pithy grapefruit.
Such fun to follow this wine over the course of 6 hours with the staff at Corkbuzz Charlotte. And to share with a few special guests.
The Gewurz tomorrow... — 9 years ago
Deeply golden color, honey and orange blossom on the tongue, a bit of residual sugar, but not too sweet. Note to self - would be awesome with cheese. — 10 years ago
We had a similar wine to this with the same label, however from Hatschbourg. The best wine we bought while staying in France for two weeks. Would recommend to anyone as a treat at €10. — 8 years ago
Like this better than my favorite Riesling, does it make this my new favorite? — 9 years ago

Golden yellow. Citrus Orange peel. Linden petro-. Pear peach. Powerful. Minerals. Flint reductive. Difficult to find it is Riesling. 2nd day, Riesling features came out even clearer. Honey.
