Painfully young, but that old vine syrah and granite density make it hard to resist. Dark, angry, pure granitic bite on the back half, needs some time, but the ripeness and warming fruit is coaxed out with air. I see a lot of potential here. — 5 years ago

Nice but perhaps not at the level I was hoping. Quite fruit forward with lots of nice dark fruit with the requisite olive notes etc. Tannins and acid both less than expected. Nice pairing with chicken roasted with feta and olives. — a year ago
