Good with food. Smooth with light acidity. "It's got some character" A — 5 years ago
Opaque in the dark, ruby in the light.
Soft brambled berrypatch on the nose and palate. Develops into a rich chocolate truffle.
Long finish with electricity to it. — a month ago
73/13/7/5/2 blend of Garnacha, Syrah, Monastrell, Graciano and Piquepoul Blanc. Pink to red rose petal in color (it’s not just the artwork) light cherry aroma, Good tangerine-cherry-white pepper flavor consistent with two main red varietals here. Not quite bone dry but close. Nice acidity and mineral finish. Muted flavors overall but a fine wine for sipping on a hot day. Paired so well with a Bianco Verde pizza al fresco last week at Pizzeria Bianco that I went out and bought a bottle. — 5 years ago
Arizona GSM, 40/20/40 blend, 14% alc/vol. Purple-red, moderate pigment extraction. Butter floral and red fruit aromas. Cherry, berry, cola and black currant flavors, slight seed bitterness and skin astringency on finish. A solid interpretation, not overly ripe vs other similar wines from the same origin. — 6 years ago
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose of black currants, plums, cooked cherries, light oak, tobacco leaf, herbs, peppercorn and chocolates.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Very dry on the palate with blueberries, black plums, cherries, spices, light oak, licorice, dark chocolates, earth, tobacco leaf, herbs and peppercorn.
Spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a tasty and easy drinking GSM blend from Arizona. Tangy and spicy. Nicely balanced and feels like a California Grenache blend.
Needed 30 minutes to open up and bring out the pretty nose, showing more red fruits as it opens up.
At this point, the Grenache and Mourvedre are more prominent than the Syrah. I really loved the nose here.
Would be nice to revisit it in a couple of years and see how it evolves.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. I paired it with a cheese board.
Grapes are grown at high elevation. A blend of 54% Syrah, 29% Mourvedre and 17% Grenache. Aged in (15% new) oak barrels for 15 months. A small production of less than 5,500 bottles.
89 points.
13.8% alcohol by volume.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 2020 Anubis, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Aglianco, pours a deep ruby/purple color with an opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe black and red fruits: mixed brambles, black cherry, crème de cassis, purple flowers, poblano pepper and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium and texture is soft. Drink now through 2035. — 11 days ago
