55 % Pinot Noir & 45% Chardonnay.
Well structured and balanced, crafted in the traditional method, Stardust opens with aromas of toast and lightly roasted nuts. Flavours of apple, lemon, some smokiness, and maybe vanilla. Very fresh for 10 yrs old and a worthy partner for mixed sushi. — 5 years ago
Thought I already rated this one, but...drinking. A hazy lil number with a fluffy quilt on top sewn from grapefruit pith. Bright, fresh, tangerine and grapefruit nose, with candied grapefruit peel, lime kefir, and zippy lime zest. Smells like summer! Citrus tangy on the palate as well, with ruby grapefruit deconstruction separating peel from pulp and pith, and cosmic zest shimmering like stardust. Quince, lime slices, lemon with a touch of sugar, dried orange, dried mango, white pepper and edible flower or snap pea, green banana turn to clean fruit married to a bitter finish. Really great beer, with acids calling out salivary catalysts, for a mouth coating, lip smacking interplay. This has such an elegant balance, it seems like something squeezed straight out of the jungle. .

Больше понравился чем первый вариант. Но тоже хорош по-своему — 10 years ago
Take a bunch of random red grapes (Sangiovese, Pinot, Zin, etc), coferment with some white grapes, add a little stardust . . . Magic! — 10 years ago

Cosmic Little Thing (Hazy-Double) IPA {Sierra Nevada}
Peachy-pear colored soup with a sugar-white, neoprene porcini underside for a corona. Ocularly challenged swamp blobs connote a slimy, runic, nebulous, message long lost to the galactic decay. The nose is bananas. Plantain, papaya, passion fruit, tangerine, creamy peach, dried apricot, coconut, candied lemon and candied lime. Lively mouthfeel of bursting stars and stardust shimmer before expressing a creamy lemon curd, and ripe pineapple pudding in a glinting chainmail shroud that melts into oblivion. The golden mirror splinters infinitesimally. The liquid universe is ours! — 2 years ago
Looooved this Shiraz! So jammy and delicious — 6 years ago
Yeasty biscuit leads the nose. Really heady baked pear, brioche, live olive, briny ocean spray, strawberry leaves, and baked plantain. Creamy texture with a dollop of lemon curd, sweet grapefruit puddles, soda bread, lime pith, tangerine skin, dried apricot mist, and a firework burst of crystalline mineral glitter worthy of the stardust that surely spawned it! Definitely a substantive style for thick fare. — 7 years ago

Sample provided by the estate. First of the two Cabs we received from Cliff Lede. Tasted upon opening and noted that it needed some air, it was tight and overly tannic. Same with the Stardust Heaven. Deep and dark ruby red with an almost black core. Still tight on the nose, slightly savory with some black cherries on the nose. Opened up with some chalk and soft dark fruits. Moderate tannins (7/10) with a full body. Lots of dark fruits with some vanilla and good acidity. Still a bit of heat even on day two. Long finish with some spicy and vegetal notes. A little dry too. Definitely needs some more time but was more approachable in its youth than the Stardust Heaven. Drink till 2028. — 10 years ago
Pineapple, lime, lemon and caramelized banana nose. Stardust-sparkly entrance of zesty lime, crystalline pineapple, and dried apricot, Meyer lemon, touches of coconut oil, sesame and steely snap pea.
