Opens up. A little peppery. — 3 years ago
Earthy nose. Cherry up front with balanced acidity and late tannins — 3 months ago
2015 vintage. Alentejo DOC. Aragonez, Trincadeiro and Alicante Bouschet. Needs time, decant or be patient. Dark chocolate, black cherries, ginja ( Portuguese sour cherry liqueur) and spices. Powerful and very spicy, not very refined, but it has a certain rustic charm. Should work well with beef or wild boar stew. Abv. 15%. — 3 years ago
Light body with a touch of acidity and kind of a woody flavor. A bit of sweetness too it as well. Not too intense, well balanced. Enjoyed it and would get again — 5 years ago

This is lovely. — 2 years ago
I’d say medium to medium plus dryness. Exactly where I want it. Delicious smokiness on the nose, with a nice spice and good heat. I really like the balance of the wine and would definitely put it toward the top of my list — 5 years ago

The wine is red, if anyone knows how to fix it. We are guessing this is made with the young vines of Tapada dos Coelheiros from Alentejo, Portugal. Frankly excellent and with great QPR. We strongly recommend. — 13 days ago
