Interesting… A rich and abundant vintage that produces a lean and austere PM - on purpose. This is Michael Shaps! An extremely food, friendly sophisticated PM :) — 3 months ago
So spot on!! Yes, 12 yrs was needed to turn the corner to let her sing in Italian ;) — 4 months ago
Full-bodied. Pomegranate, boysenberries, oak, and charcoal. — 2 months ago
2017 was a special vintage… adequate heat, but isolated, micro climate coolness at night. This allowed for some properties to produce an acceptable standalone Cabernet Sauvignon. this build was not a reserve, but it still had balance and utility. I suspect there was a bit of PV blended in for added structure/tannin. Nevertheless, the overall complete product was delightful and paired wonderfully with dinner. (burgers.!!) — 3 months ago
Could easily be mistaken for old world. Solid. I clearly need to drink more from the commonwealth. — 6 months ago
Insane clarity - precise tension between minerality and lees texture. BEAUTIFUL — 2 months ago
Built to be generous and full, this has ample mouthfeel and texture. Acid yields a little bit due to the fat nature. Profile is a beautiful honeysuckle and apricot medley. Wonderful with our Panko chicken and Rich curried sweet potato fries. Holds up nicely to garlic as well.! a great budget Viognier at 30$ — 4 months ago
Last bottle of the 2013… At 12+ years old, tremendous aging potential on display. — 5 months ago
