Deep inky in color with a short reddish rim.
Fruity nose of black currants, black plums, blackberries, vanilla, cedar, licorice, light cola, eucalyptus, chocolates, Indian spices and peppercorn.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruit forward on the palate with blackberries, black currants, cooked cherries, raspberries, peppercorn, chocolates, spices and light oak.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and cranberries.
This young Cabernet Sauvignon from Atlas Peak in Napa Valley is already drinking beautifully. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Elegant and rich. Fruit forward and complex.
Still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but already enjoyable even by itself.
Needed 2 hours to open up properly, so be patient. Well worth the wait. Loved the nose once it opened up.
Tangy and interesting to drink by itself or with food. Paired nicely with my Ox tail.
A tiny production of only 6 barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Crisp nose of unripe pear, honey and lime on the nose. Baked honey crisp apple, white flower, slight petrol on the palate. Lovely minerality and sense of terroir in this wine. — 6 years ago

Amaze. Great body. — 4 months ago
Medium ruby garnet, quite thin garnet terracotta rim . Quite rich , with ripe red fruits , some tobacco , warm spiciness , cigar box , ripe cassis , sous bois , after a while touch of coffee. On the palate this also shows good roundness with ripe red and dark fruits, cassis , red plum , grafite , touch of earthiness . Balanced acidity and rounded sweet tannin . Quite juicy with a grafite edged finish . Pretty good length. This is at peak now . For now and over the next 5 -8 years. Quite generous and showy , ripe but balanced, a good showing. — 10 months ago

Utterly Fantastic — 4 years ago
Entirely Merlot based, this beautiful new wine was aged in 50% new French oak for sixteen months before bottling. Ripe blackberry aromatic tones mingle with shades of dark chocolate shavings and tar that all come together in the glass. The palate shows a wonderful sense of mouthfeel and weight, with great acidity that runs through the core of dark fruits, dark chocolate shavings and creosote flavors. Fresh, vibrant and full of life in its youth, this outstanding wine will have a long life ahead of it. Drink 2020-2038- 93 — 6 years ago

This bottle brought us back to Napa with good friends and family. Incredibly smooth and easy to drink. One of the best! — 2 years ago
Pretty deep , almost opaque , thin rim . Quite wild , dried herbs , touch of rounded red fruits . More fruit on the palate , quite ripe red fruits , quite soft but fine , nice balanced acidity . Slightly warm. Quite good length though quite dry finish . Nice now , wouldn’t want to leave this too much longer however . — 4 years ago

2022. Full bodied. Great but not too opulent nose. Lovely acidity and balanced. Macadamia nuts, lemon and something else I can’t name. Love. — 5 days ago
