Boysenberry, chocolate, cigar with nice finish — a year ago
This really leans into the darker aspect of Cab. Dark cassis, loads of dark crushed stone, baker’s chocolate, dark iodiney savory notes. Intense in the mouth, but with surprisingly nice acids for its 14.9 frame. Rich, but bone dry. Still tannic, but it’s soft. — a year ago
Deep and earthy. Drinking ok but could still use more time. — 5 years ago
Solid and definitely needed the aerator but aging well. Will be excellent in a few years. Deep and earthy. Lots of dark fruit. — 5 years ago
East Hampton from Wainscott wines 8-5-20. Really good — 6 years ago
Excellent drink. Needs to be decanted even at 25 years old. Drink now — 6 months ago
Very good as always. Very full bodied and you realize it from what we’re drinking otherwise. — 9 months ago
Really easy sipping. Sweet but not overly. Slight acidity. — a year ago
String and earthy with dark fruit. The tonella is better of course but this is still good. Drinking young. — 4 years ago
Nose: dusty. Cedar. Light leather. Boysenberry, cherries. Plum. Pencil shavings. Taste: rich plum, Smokey oak, cedar, dark chocolate, coffee finish. Some herbaceous notes. Cherry. Smooth but rich. Med+ body, medium acid and tannin, dry. Me likey. — 5 years ago
Still a great Merlot but lots of dark fruit and feels alcoholic/hangover inducing. Their wines recently need to sit much longer than in the past. — 5 years ago
Bordeaux style balanced beautifully. — 6 years ago
Dark fruit and mild tannins — 7 months ago
Good but harsher and more tanic than we remember. Didn’t decant but maybe needs it. Opened up a week later but not the favorite still. Definitely more balanced. . — 8 months ago
My love affair with my favourite Canadian Rosé continues. Hints of apricot, strawberries and a dry minerality paired perfectly with a capellini pasta in a hot smoked salmon, cherry tomatoes and asparagus with crème fraiche sauce. Golden BC, cabin country. — a year ago
