Bright yellow color. Fragrant aromas of citrus fruit, orchard fruit, white flowers and wet stones. Flavors of lemon/lime, minerals and white pepper spice. Medium length, but very salty (in a good way) finish. Loads of acidity. Crisp, fresh and clean. Light bodied and refreshing. Simple and not overly complex. Crianza-style blend of Tempranillo (65%) and Garnacha (35%). Bright ruby color with a dark core. Aromas of plush red and black fruit, earth, tobacco and rose petals. Flavors of cooked red and black cherries, blackberries, currants, black licorice and sweet baking spices. Long earthy finish and medium-plus bodied. Grippy (yet dusty) tannins and a soft texture. Very light touch of oak. Bright, plush and fruit forward. Better the second day. Solid value. — 6 days ago

Murky garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of cherry, dried violets, dried earth and leather. Flavors of red and black cherries, cocoa powder and sweet baking spices. Intense flavors of grapefruit, lemongrass, passion fruit, green apple, fresh herbs and ginger spice. Long and lingering salty finish. Intense eye opening acidity. Interesting Loire Valley Pinot Noir. Bright garnet color with a dark murky core. Aromas of dark fruit, forest floor and a bit of funk. Flavors of blueberries , red and black cherries/raspberries and minerals. Medium (and very earthy/funky) finish. Bright (high level of) acidity, light body and silky tannins. Lacking a bit of complexity and overall depth. Lots of tension. Very much a Pinot Noir, but this wine also had a bit of a light bodied Cabernet Franc vibe. 100% Aligote. Light golden color. Aromas of yellow fruit, white flowers and fresh herbs. Flavors of golden delicious apple, pear, citrus honey, raw nuts and a hint of minerals. Touch of saline on the long and lingering finish. Medium bodied with mouth watering (high level of) acidity. Elegant, well structured with a slightly creamy texture. Crisp, tangy and refreshing.
