My kind of RDM: fragrant, fresh, transparent, lean, and full of flavor. Kind of a surprise from such a hot year. Lightish color. Nose has fragrant, ripe, zippy cherry fruit, rock dust minerality, and a note of mint and fresh oregano. Lean, soft, intense flavors, with nice acidity and a clingy finish. A wee bit o' tannin. Almost seems more like a Chianti Classico than your typical RDM.
