Alessandro e Gian Natale Fantino
Monforte d'Alba Rosso dei Dardi Red Blend
Piedmont, Italy
Nebbiolo's pretty almost Pinot side. Roses, lavender... acidity, and tannins in check.

Lovely and fragrant, structured but soft. Could have gone for a few more years, but I wouldn’t want the florals to be tamed.

Awful, thin wine. Hard to tell it is Nebbiolo. Do not purchase.

Decent. Baby wine of Fantino. Would buy again for weekday drinking. A bit lighter than your standard Nebbiolo and not quite as robust.

Apr 18th, 2019Delightful is the word! easy drinking. Earthy aroma them evolves into a light bodied wine. Mulled plum, almost a zesty tone to it. No trace of vanilla or smoke. Medium smooth and low tannin

Jan 13th, 2018Juicy but not overly fruity, nice and rich. Thoroughly enjoyable on a patio on a crisp fall night pairs well with the tacos I ate an hour ago but can still sort of taste and the cheese plate im making now
