Etna Bianco Carricante

Flavorsome, oak free Carricante from Sicily’s Mt Etna. The 2024 displays an engaging light straw appearance, aromas and flavors of citrus and green apple, a crisp, sur lie enhanced, medium body that delivers an energetic lasting finish.

Very nice. This wine is all mineral. Light citrus fruits, but what I notice is that volcanic soil. Mild reductive notes. High acid. Good length.
