Another blind serving. 5 year old Chablis? WRONG, again! Aromas of lime, oranges, sea salt and flower. In the mouth I felt as if I was blindsided in the ocean by a wave and knocked underwater and swallowed a mouthful of water.. Blend of 90% Carricante and 10% Riesling, pale to medium lemon color with aromas of stone fruit, citrus and honey floral notes. On the palate flavors of ripe apple and pear with slight citrus and smoky mineral notes. Good acidity, balance and structure, medium+ finish ending with smoky mineral character.
