A bit tired... nice raspberry and dark cherry notes on the nose with pine sap, tar, tobacco leaves and a bit of volatile acidity too. The palate is acid driven, a bit astringent, raspberry and cherry notes, some grippy, dusty tannins in the rear, before a long and fresh finish leaving a dusty layer that goes on for a while. It lost is joyous aspect. It's a bit austere in its state and calls for food. Lamb ribs on the grill should be a great partner to the wine.
