Mar 31st, 2026The first 100% Monastrell (Mourvèdre) I’ve tried. Was immediately hit by aromas of honey which really surprised me being a red wine. Taste was much sweeter than I typically prefer in reds, but it was very smooth and tasted more like a typical light bodied red at the finish. Wouldn’t buy it again, but don’t regret it. Great to try a new type of wine
