Clear, deep ruby to purple in color; on the nose, it’s clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cassis, blackberries, and graphite; on the palate, it's dry with medium plus acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and medium intensity primary and secondary flavors of black plums, blueberries, and crushed gravel with a long finish. This wine is balanced and complex. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. I think it would have improved with age, or more time in a decanter.

On Qatar business flight Jan 2025. Excellent Bordeaux. Wouldn’t usually have tried it but the purser suggested it. I had it on a following flight as well.

Already ready to drink. Intense, Cabernet-driven Bordeaux, with deep black cherry and plum flavors. Powerful earthy nose. Superb value and a paragon of Pauillac. Great with Secret de Compostelle cheese.

2016 vintage. Dark and dense with blackberry, lavender and cassis in the flavor profile. Mysterious, come-hither nose. Medium body. Silky tannins on a slightly earthy finish that just casually skates past at first but then looks back with a smile. Unimpressive at first but starts to gain your trust by the third sip.
