Heavy barnyard funk upon opening, but after 20-30 min. of decanting this wine is firing on all cylinders. On the nose vibrant dark fruits, cool menthol, and sage. On the palate silky smooth, well-integrated tannins with savory earth and juicy, ripe dark fruits. Delicious; would love to see it in 10 years.
