As is true of many Bordeaux wines the 2006 vintage is under appreciated following the huge success of the 2005s. This 60:30:10 Merlot:Cab Franc:Cab Sauv blend is fresh on the palette with plenty of tannic structure. The wine is soft and already approachable with violets and other floral notes readily apparent. A good bargain and a wine to acquire on the cheap if available!
