The idea is a more accessible style of Sauternes that could work as an aperitif, but after 10 years, this has beautifully evolved into something more complex and rich, while refreshing acidity keeps the sweetness in check. Abv. 14%. A great introduction to the grand vin.

Ripe peach-apricot nose with honeyed apples and stone fruits on the palate. Clean texture, brilliant color, but the alcohol hits hard! Pair with soft salty washrind cheese and salted caramel desserts, or perhaps warm Brie baked with candied apples.

Nice flavor, honey, stone fruit, but lacking structure. It comes off as overly sweet and a little flabby.
