Lush and juicy. Hint of mint. Very well made.

Complex, developed aromas of black and red fruit, with some aniseed. Palate still vibrantly youthful, with a tight core of black fruit and refined, restrained tannin structure. Years ahead of it still, ageing surprisingly slowly. One more bottle in the cellar for 5-10 years’ time.

Delicious. Dark fruited and well balanced with textural tannins that are soft and slightly chewy. In a good place now.

Dalwhinnie is all about the quality of the tannins. Deep dark fruit enveloped in a shroud of powdery grippy tannin. The tannins lift the fruit and provide freshness, grip and length. Fabulous.

This is in a great place right now but will continue to develop for 10 + years. The integration of blue and black fruit with a wall of fine powdery tannin defines this wine. Rosemary, and floral notes mixed with the pure elegant fruit. Long, and serious.

Very savoury style. Focused blackberry line plus leafiness with a very drying finish. A touch of mint. A nice counterpoint to the typical Aussie fruit driven style. Plenty of development ahead.

Ok. Possibly a victim of inconsistent storage.
