Such a pure expression of the fruit... Une pure eau de roche!

I've had a few of these, but none better than this bottling on a particularly warm Sonoma night. Clean and focused with the perfect Melon weight.

2010 was the vintage equivalent of nipple clamps.

Honeyed aromas and flavors overlay this beautiful aged Muscadet, mineral and saline undertones, great acid backbone still in place, very long, lingering finish, a great Muscadet!!

A little too much bottle age on this 2010 bottle. Petrol nose and candied flavors.

Fruit has taken its spot in the background, texture and weight move on up. Fun to taste some aging muscadet.
