Simply a beautiful #chateauneufdupape. Velvety tannins, some garrigue and not too much of that sweetness present in some 2016s - paired well and held its own with mildly spiced Tandoori lamb chops.

As perfect as a wine can get. For Saba’s 87th birthday brought by Rob stepen. Rich perfectly balanced tannins. Cigar and leather and all things that linger on the tongue and create a happy feeling. Boeuf Bourguignon and chulnt. Good with both.
