What I want to see more of from Mendoza. Deep fruit forward and medium bodied. Lacking the funky nose you'd expect from a Cab Franc but spicy and rich on the tongue.

A near perfectly balanced Cab Franc from Mendoza, richly layered with notes of toasted oak, black fruit, cedar, hints of vanilla and violets with a finish of cassis and some smoke. Spectacular for the price

I don't get it. I find this unmemorable. Better open for a while, but one dimensional and uninteresting. I keep getting sucked in by these affordable S. American cab francs.
