A very Bordeaux-styled Chianti. The nose shows dark cherry candy fruit, cracked stone, and some toasty French oak. In the mouth, there are loads of cigar box notes competing with some cherry fruit. There a lots of savory notes and a slightly bitter barrel note on the finish. Very good, but feels a tad contrived.
