Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Light aromas of red and black fruit, violets and grape candy. More fresh blackberry/ black cherry fruit on the palate. Short and somewhat tart finish and no tannins. There is some vibrant acidity. Relatively dense and rich. Better than many previous vintages.
