Polish Hill Clare Valley Riesling

Fresh and pristine even at 10 years of age. Arguably Australia’s best Riesling - certainly in the top 3. Aromatics of lime juice with a tiny hint of TDN (paraffin in this case) and a hint of honey. Overall ultra pure with M+ intensity and a touch of peach on the palate. This could be confidentally cellared for another 5 years for added complexity. Dry Riesling doesn’t get much better than this.

Stony and subdued citrus.

Still very young. Orange blossom, rubber, key limes, lemon and tarragon. Medium plus acid and not quite as taught as it once was. Great producer sure, but better rieslings our there for the bucks. Like to see if this would go in a blind line up.

Powerful wine, a cavalcade of acid and minerality; but a touch hard to enjoy at the moment

Thrilling

Paraffin notes on the nose, lemon and lime notes on the palate. Took a while to open up, interesting bottle at almost a decade under screw cap. At 10 Greek St on their LBB list

Good but not as good as it could have been because it hadn’t improved with age - still fresh and excellent Riesling but expected more development for 5 years

Super elegant. Fresh lemon and lime. Precise.

Fruit loops

Finger limes with hint of melon underpinned by chalky minerality. Laser like acidity and great depth.
